Nestled in the heart of Bandar Damai Perdana, Bai Wei Kopitiam @Damai Perdana is a charming Chinese restaurant that masterfully blends traditional kopitiam favorites with delightful fusion flavors. From the moment you step inside, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed kopi and sizzling delicacies sets a comforting tone, perfect for both a casual morning pick-me-up or a relaxed lunch with friends.
The highlight here undoubtedly lies in their thoughtfully curated menu offering a variety of local and fusion-style dishes. The Signature Traditional Coffee is a standout—a robust, aromatic brew that packs just the right punch to invigorate your senses. Patrons often praise their exquisite Egg Tart, boasting a delicate crisp crust paired with a satisfyingly creamy custard center that melts in your mouth with every bite. The Roasted Pork also earns high marks for its crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat, revealing the kitchen’s dedication to classic technique.
For those craving something heartier, the Curry Noodles with Boiled Chicken offers a deeply comforting bowl rich with layers of spices and tender poultry. While some might wish for a slightly larger portion, the quality of the dish is undeniable. Meanwhile, adventurous eaters can sample fusion picks such as the Tom Yum Seafood Rice or spaghetti, which provide a refreshing twist on familiar flavors. Side dishes like the sweet potato complement the mains perfectly, adding a hint of natural sweetness and texture.
The dining environment is cozy and unpretentious, echoing the welcoming spirit of a traditional kopitiam, though some guests have noted the ventilation could be improved to enhance overall comfort. Despite this, the atmosphere remains relaxed, with prompt and friendly service ensuring your meal arrives swiftly, ideal for those on the go or looking for a hassle-free dining experience.
Affordability and value further add to Bai Wei Kopitiam’s appeal. With prices that invite repeat visits—such as the refreshing Kopi Bear Ais at just RM4.90—and generous monthly promotions like a 15% discount during your birthday month, this kopitiam clearly understands how to balance quality with accessibility. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast seeking that perfect brew, a fan of nostalgic local snacks, or simply in search of a well-rounded meal with a touch of innovation, Bai Wei Kopitiam @Damai Perdana delivers on all fronts.
In sum, this restaurant is a reliable gem in Cheras, reflecting consistent quality and service akin to its sister outlet in Melaka Kota Laksamana. For anyone craving soulful Chinese kopitiam fare with a modern edge in a comfortable setting, Bai Wei Kopitiam is absolutely worth a visit.

The egg tart is nice. The roasted pork also good. Otherwise the Tom yum seafood rice and the spaghetti taste average. Coffee is nice too, kaw. The side dishes of sweet potato taste good too. Worth visiting this place. Ventilation needs to improve.

Bai Wei Kopitiam at Damai Perdana offers a nice variety of local and fusion kopitiam-style dishes. The Signature Traditional Coffee was a solid choice for a morning kick, though pretty standard. The Curry Noodles with Boiled Chicken stood out — comforting with a rich flavor, though portion could be a bit bigger for the price. On the snack side, the Portuguese Tart had a light crisp with creamy filling, while the Kaya Puff gave that nostalgic kopitiam touch. The Croissant with Luncheon Meat, Egg & Cheese leaned more on the fusion side — slightly heavier, good for brunch.

I’ve been to the Melaka Kota Laksamana branch a few times and decided to try out their Damai Perdana outlet. The experience was very consistent — menu and service are practically the same, so if you’ve been to one, you’ll feel right at home at the other. Food-wise, the taste is still solid and satisfying, no drop in quality compared to the Melaka branch. Service is straightforward and efficient, so you won’t be left waiting too long. The only challenge here is parking, as the neighbourhood tends to get really busy, especially during meal times. It can take a while to find a spot. Overall, if you enjoy Bai Wei Kopitiam, this outlet is definitely a good option, just plan ahead for parking.
